Civilian instructor liability insurance
The main reason expeditions are cancelled is through the
unavailability of instructors. Service life is busy, and
sometimes people just aren’t available, are injured, or get
deployed just when you where hoping to use them. To get the
expedition running civilian instructors are called upon to fill the
gap but they must have public liability
insurance.
The MOD has specific requirements for this
insurance and it is unlikely that his or her usual insurance policy
will be adequate.
