In 2006, we raised more than £50,000 for the charity
and recently sponsored a Defence Photographic Exhibition raising a
further £15,000.
The event, held at the Imperial War Museum and hosted by HRH
Prince Michael of Kent, was a resounding success for the
charity.
Guests included: CAE UK Plc (leading providers of technology and
integrated training services for civil aviation worldwide),
Carillion Plc (leading support services and construction
companies), Plaisterers' Hall (a pre-eminenet City venue for
conferences and road shows), Sterling Insurance Group, RAB Captial
(London based investment management company) and many others.
Commenting on the success of the event, Rod Breeze (Towergate
Wilsons Managing Director), said: "We've proudly sponsored the
charity for a number of years. The event, the first of its kind,
has also helped to raise the profile of Wilsons and generate
business contacts for the Group as a whole."
